Currently, Fortnite Season 4 is in full swing, with various new challenges to complete and new sprays, emotes, and customizations to unlock. Season 4 rewards include a brand-new outfit called the Carbide skin, which players can unlock and upgrade as they progress. Let’s talk about how to get the Carbide skin and pickaxe in Fortnite and how to upgrade the Carbide armor set so you can loot the battlegrounds in style in Fortnite Battle Royale. This guide is all about Carbide Fortnite in detail.Carbide: What Is It?

The first step in unlocking the Fortnite Carbide fully upgraded skin is the base layer of the armor. Thankfully, it’s unlocked right at Tier 1 of the Battle Pass. You won’t have to do any work to unlock the essential yet awesome-looking, Carbide skin! (This is much easier than unlocking the tier 100 Omega skin.)

Since the Carbide base skin is so easy to unlock, you can expect a lot of players to be wearing this skin-tight blue number.

How to Get the Carbide Fortnite Skin?

The Carbide skin in Fortnite is available for 950 V-Bucks when you purchase the Season 4 Battle Pass. As a result, you will unlock the Tier 1 Carbide skin and additional customization options for your character. To track your progress following the purchase of the Battle Pass, open the Battle Pass tab on the main menu screen of Fortnite Battle Royale.

How to Upgrade the Carbide Fortnite outfits?

Fortnite Battle Royale’s fourth season introduces new challenges for players to work towards. Players who reach level milestones throughout the season will receive pieces of a set of armor as a reward for the Carbide Challenges, similar to the Omega Challenges. Your Season Level will increase as you unlock upgrades for the Carbide skin. Note that this is not the same as your Battle Pass Rank. A set of Carbide armor can only be obtained by completing all five Carbide Challenges.

By completing three of the five Carbide Challenges (or reaching level 30) in Fortnite, you will also be able to unlock the Carbide pickaxe, a stylish new tool that matches your upgraded Carbide gear.

Maybe you should strive to unlock the Omega outfit instead if the Carbide skin does not suit your tastes. The Omega gear unlocks using a similar milestone process as the Carbide skin, so regardless of how you unlock these exclusive new outfits, you will need to grind as much XP as possible before you can level up your Battle Pass to unlock them. Completing the Season 4 weekly challenges, such as dancing in front of film cameras or visiting letter locations to spell out ‘Fortnite,’ is best to boost your Battle Pass rank.

Those who complete the weekly challenges will also unlock the Blockbuster Challenges, which provide free Battle Pass tiers for completing all the weekly challenges. Blockbuster Challenges, which grant free Battle Pass levels to those who are diligent enough to complete all the weekly challenges, are also accessible after completing weekly challenges.

How to access these Carbide Fortnite skin challenges?

You will need to purchase the Season 4 Battle Pass first to unlock these skins. There is a cost of 950 V-Bucks, which is the equivalent of about £7.99 in real-world currency. Accessing one requires you to go to the “Battle Pass” tab on the main menu screen.

Once you’ve completed your selection, click “Purchase,” and you’ll be redirected to another page where you’ll have the option of buying either the 950 V-Bucks Battle Pass or the 2,800 V-Bucks Battle Bundle. Choose the former option if you’re looking for a standard Battle Pass. If you want additional features, choose the latter.

Once you’ve made your payment, you’ll be taken back to the main menu, where you’ll find V-Bucks in your account. The Battle Pass purchase is complete once you select the tab and click the purchase button.

You’ll be able to access all of our Weekly Challenges and Skin Challenges from now on.

Carbide Fortnite Challenges

Carbide Challenge is something you’ll naturally work towards as you play the game. It is divided into five sections, and six rewards are available to upgrade the base Carbide Outfit.

The process is as follows.

  • There are five different unlock tiers in the Carbide Challenge.
  • You’ll need to reach a certain Season Level to unlock a reward tier.
  • By playing the game, earning experience points, and ranking up, you can earn Season Levels.
  • To unlock all 5 Carbide tiers, you must reach Season Levels 10, 20, 30, 40, and 65.

Rewards

And finally, here’s what you can expect to gain by working towards the Carbide Challenge.

  • The more reward tiers you unlock, the more armor pieces you’ll unlock that you’ll be able to equip immediately using the “Change Style” option while selecting the skin.
  • The shiny Carbide Pickaxe will be yours once you unlock three reward tiers.
  • The whole Carbide skin set will be yours once you reach Season Level 65!

Carbide Fortnite combos

Battle Hound Combo Molten

With the five elements and the excellent back bling, this perfectly captures the spirit of the season 8 volcano theme. The dying light backpack and dread pickaxe come with the molten battle hound skin.

With the devil girl Malice’s skin and the fabulous fiery back bling that looks like a glider, this combo is again in the volcano fire theme.

Blue team leader outfit

You can’t go wrong with this combination if you’re into blue, as they all have a solid blue hue.

The outfit is the blue team leader outfit you could get by subscribing to PlayStation Plus, but not anymore. You can still get the blue shift back bling if you link your Epic account to a PlayStation Plus account. It’s a promotion, too, but you can get it now if you link your account.

Season 4 carbide set includes the glider Intrepid and the pickaxe positron. I would also add the blue metallic wrap you could get from challenges in season 8 for even more blueness.

The American outfit.

Those who want to look like real Americans might want to try this combination out. It looks hilarious on the field, and you will look like a fast-food lover. We also recommend using the flying saucer glider with this.

Dark bomber and Brite.

It’s no secret that the dark bomber and Brite bomber are favorites, but to stand out, everything in the slot needs to fit correctly. However, some stuff is from the season 3 pass, such as the rainbow set, which can be replaced by the Prismatic glider for 800 Vbucks.

Still, it’s a beautiful set to look at.
